Strengthen and Align

Mondays 6:00 - 7:00 pm

This class is suitable for people who have completed a beginners course or would like to consolidate their practice. The curriculum is structured to build your strength and flexibility over a number of weeks. Mindfulness and relaxation are incorporated into each class and you will finish the class feeling calm and centered.

Casual attendance is also possible.

Good Morning Yoga

Tuesday and Thursday mornings 6:30 - 7:30 am

Start your day well! This class provides a mindful start to your day while stretching and invigorating the body. Each class offers simpler options according to your range of movement and strength, allowing beginners to grow into the practice and space for regulars to explore something new or to extend their practice

Tuesday Tune-up

Tuesdays 9:00 - 10:00 am

This yoga class focuses on strength, flexibility and relaxation, with an emphasis on core stability and balance. Using a combination of flowing and remedial poses with breath work, this practice will assist you to effectively care for your body and mind.

This class is suitable for all levels of ability and experience.

Work Antidote

Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:00 pm

This class is for those who need some movement and relaxation after the working day. The classes are designed for people with some yoga experience and can be quite challenging. Each class will incorporate movement to get the blood moving after a day at work, and relaxation to help you wind down from your day.

Beginners' Yoga

Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00 pm

These classes are for yoga newbies or those who want to re-visit the basics. We will start with the most foundational concepts and poses of yoga and build from there. By the end of the term you will have a solid foundation in yoga and should start to notice the effects on your flexibility, balance and strength. You will come out of each class feeling calm and centred - it's great for mental and physical wellbeing.

Gentle Yoga

Thursdays10:00 - 11:00  am

This class will focus on the core principal of yoga, linking movement with breath. We will practice in a gentle and mindful way allowing space to  pay attention to felt sense in the body and the very subtle movement of energy. One of my teachers said yoga is about "a little bit of movement in a lot of places" and that is what we will be focusing on in this class.

 

Some basic knowledge of yoga practice will be useful.

Rest and reset

Every second Thursday 6:00 - 7:00 pm, starting Jan 30

Nurture your nervous system and give yourself the permission to slow down. This restorative yoga class encourages you to spend time in stillness and quiet. You will be guided into long-held passive poses, supported by props, with the aim of finding comfort and ease while gently releasing muscle tension. Every class will end with deep relaxation. Perfect for those who feel overwhelmed, stressed, and in need of true rest.

Weekend Warmup

Get your weekend off to a good start! This class is suitable if you have previously completed a yoga beginner’s course. The classes aim to leave you feeling both invigorated and relaxed through a combination of poses that can be quite interesting and challenging, as well as a mindful practice and relaxation.
